Truly, there are many liberals who will never be forgiven for what they have done to the divine gift of language, for to abuse language is a kind of slow-motion genocide -- to say nothing of deicide; when you abuse words, you abuse the Word.

He would do it because it is exactly what he wants to happen. He has indicated time and again a desire to subject the Bush Administration and the CIA to prosecution and have even made hesitant steps in that direction. It is, however, a politically dangerous game for Obama and Holder. To just openly levy charges against Bush and the CIA would cost the administration the support of millions of independents. Obama wanted to release harsh CIA interrogation photos, for example, but prevented their release when the poltical cost of doing so was made clear. What Obama needs is a way to put Bush, Cheney and the CIA on trial without appearing to be a banana republic revolutionary subjecting his predecessor to a kangaroo court.

Although I have not always been the most outspoken advocate of President-Elect Barack Obama, today I would like to congratulate him and add my voice to the millions of fellow citizens who are celebrating his historic and frightening election victory. I don't care whether you are a conservative or a liberal -- when you saw this inspiring young African-American rise to our nation's highest office I hope you felt the same sense of patriotic pride that I experienced, no matter how hard you were hyperventilating with deep existential dread.

Yes, I know there are probably other African-Americans much better qualified and prepared for the presidency. Much, much better qualified. Hundreds, easily, if not thousands, and without any troubling ties to radical lunatics and Chicago mobsters. Gary Coleman comes to mind. But let it not distract us from the fact that Mr. Obama's election represents a profound, positive milestone in our country's struggle to overcome its long legacy of racial divisions and bigotry. It reminds us of how far we've come, and it's something everyone in our nation should celebrate in whatever little time we now have left.

We are on the fast track to hellish, man-made tyranny. A tyranny of our own creation for there is no one to blame but ourselves.

Ourselves you say? Surely you must be mistaken? What have I done to promulgate nihilistic behavior? Rather the question should be what have you done to prevent it?

Western man has abdicated his every belief under the guise of tolerance and political correctness less he offend any number of those members of the unthinking irrational mob who have come to personify our current society.

Individualism in thought, action, and deed has been replaced by the will of the mob. Mobs made up of nihilistic man whose ultimate goal is to destroy liberty (read that as responsibility) and replace it with a nihilistic totalitarian dictatorship whose sole purpose will be to crush the individual under the heel of nihilistic slavery. You as an individual will not be allowed within this new society for you are un-enlightened. You have encumbered yourself with moral responsibility and ethics thus denying yourself “god-hood”, which, is what the new totalitarians promise the mobocracy that supports them. You see, it is a symbiotic relationship, one feeds off the other. The totalitarian state allows the nihilist access to his every desire protecting his quest so long as the nihilist continues to enhance the power of the regime.

Obama has zeroed in on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Fox News and doctors. There's nothing coincidental about this trio of targets, either: They are, respectively, the nation's most powerful business lobby, the television voice for Middle Americans worried about where Obama is taking the country, and the professional group with the greatest potential power to kill Obamacare. How the muscle is applied differs in detail from case to case, but the common message is there for all - you get in line or you pay a steep price for crossing Obama.  Killing America

Despite his post-racial promise, President Obama and his fellow Democrats have continued to argue that disapproval of their agenda stems from hidden racial animosity. Claiming their critics are racists and making themselves the defenders of antiracism touches the long history of Americans treating minorities as monolithically-thinking groups that need to be cared for, rather than self-reliant individuals in communities that have a wide range of opinions.

It is threatening hundreds of other “partnerships” in the name of environmental regulation. And that’s just in the first five months. Mussolini would be envious.

Italian social critic Gaetano Salvemini wrote in his 1936 book, Under the Axe of Fascism, that “It is the state, i.e., the taxpayer, who has become responsible to private enterprise. In Fascist Italy the state pays for the blunders of private enterprise.” “Profit remained to private initiative,” Salvemini wrote, but “the government added the losses to the taxpayers’ burden. Profit is private and individual. Loss is public and social.” Sound familiar?
